Crossed stripes with holes
Number of stitches: multiple of 16 +3
The upper image shows a stitch of crossed stripes to the left, worked following the Graphic Chart No. 1. It is also possible to use the Graphic Chart No. 2 for stripes crossing to the right. Or you can use both directions in the knitted fabric, as in the illustrative image here:
As always, horizontally follow the symbols in the chart from right to left. Repeat symbols between the green lines.
Vertically follow the rows from bottom to top, repeating rows 1 to 24.
In the graphic chart, only the right side rows are shown, in wrong side rows work all the stitches as they appear. Newly added stitches purl in WS rows.
