A vertical stripe of cabless and openwork
Number of stitches: stripe over 22 stitches
By knitting follow the graphic chart. For one strip work the entire shown section of the chart. Horizontally follow the symbols from right to left. To repeat the stripe horizontally, start each row with stitches before the right vertical blue line, then repeat the section between vertical blue lines and end the row with a stitch behind the left blue line.
Only right side rows are shown in the graphic chart. Work all wrong side stitches as they appear (i.e. knit knitted stitches and purl purled stitches).
Vertically repeat rows 1 to 8.

Cross 4 sts to right – (ie. slip 2 stitches p-wise onto a cable needle, let cable needle hang in back of work as you knit the next 2 stiches, then knit 2 stitches off of cable needle.
Cross 4 sts to left (ie. slip 2 stitches p-wise onto a cable needle, let cable needle hang in front of work as you knit the next 2 stiches, then knit 2 stitches off of cable needle.
